On June 6, 2026, GMKtec celebrates its seventh anniversary.
Since 2019, we have believed in a simple idea: powerful computing should not be limited by a bulky desktop tower, and meaningful technology should be closer to the way people work, create, and live.
Over the past seven years, we have continued to explore what is possible when performance, efficiency, compact design, and intelligent computing come together. What began with practical Mini PCs has grown into a broader journey toward AI Mini PCs and smarter desktop computing.
Today, GMKtec is no longer simply a Mini PC brand. We are becoming an active participant in the global AI computing ecosystem.
This journey would not have been possible without the trust of our users, gamers, creators, developers, business customers, distributors, partners, media friends, and every member of the GMKtec team.
As we celebrate our seventh anniversary, we would like to look back on where we started, thank everyone who has joined us along the way, and share our vision for the future.
It Started with NucBox KB1 on Lndiegogo: Making Powerful Computing More Accessible
GMKtec began with a clear goal: to give more people a flexible, efficient, and accessible way to use a computer.
The early NucBox Mini PCs brought compact design and practical performance to home offices, everyday learning, entertainment, and business deployments.
As user needs evolved, GMKtec gradually developed a complete product ecosystem for different performance levels and scenarios:

As artificial intelligence becomes part of personal computers, creative tools, and business workflows, the role of the Mini PC is changing.
It is no longer only a compact alternative to a traditional desktop. It is becoming an important platform for local AI inference, content creation, software development, intelligent productivity, and edge computing.
The GMKtec EVO Series was created for this new era.
From the AMD Ryzen AI-powered EVO-X1, to the flagship EVO-X2 desktop AI supercomputer powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, and the next-generation EVO-X3 officially unveiled at AMD AI Developer Day, GMKtec continues to bring high-performance AI computing into a compact and accessible desktop form.
The EVO-T2 was showcased at CES 2026 and received a personal signature from Intel’s CEO. Separately, the EVO-X2 and EVO-X3 received personal signatures from AMD Chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su.These moments represented more than recognition for individual products—they marked an important step forward for GMKtec within the global AI computing ecosystem.
At the same time, GMKtec has continued to deepen its collaboration with Intel through the co-developed flagship AI Mini PC, EVO-T2, expanding the possibilities of local AI, intelligent workflows, and next-generation desktop computing.
From AMD to Intel, from everyday productivity to local AI, and from a single Mini PC to a complete intelligent computing ecosystem, GMKtec is working to provide the right computing solution for more users, across different architectures, performance levels, and use cases.
From Shenzhen to the Global Stage
Over the past seven years, GMKtec products and services have reached users across many countries and regions around the world.
We have shared our innovations at major industry events, including CES, AMD AI Developer Day, the AMD Channel & Emerging Partners Ecosystem Summit, and the Shenzhen International Artificial Intelligence Exhibition.
Receiving the AMD 2025 Business Excellence Award was an important recognition of GMKtec’s continued innovation in Mini PCs and AI computing.
