EVO-X2 Fan Speed Adjustment Guide
Note: This guide applies only to devices with BIOS version: EVO-X2 1.04 dated 05/14/2025 and EC version 1.04 or later.
- Enter the BIOS Interface
While the EVO-X2 device is connected to power and powered off, briefly press the power button to turn it on. During startup, continuously press the ESCkey to enter the BIOS setup screen, as shown below:
- Enter the Advanced Menu
Use the arrow key "→" on your keyboard to navigate to the Advancedtab, as shown below:
3. Select the Hardware Monitor Option
Use the "↓" arrow key on your keyboard to select the Hardware Monitormenu item. Press the Enterkey to open it, as shown below:

You can view the current fan speeds and adjust the fan speed settings for two CPU fans and one system fan.
Select the CPU Fan1 Speed Controloption and press the Enterkey, as shown below:
- Enable Fixed Fan Speed
Select the CPU Smart Fan1option and press the Enterkey, as shown below:
When CPU Smart Fan1 is set to Disabled, the fan speed is automatically controlled by the system.
When CPU Smart Fan1 is set to Enabled, the fan speed is fixed at a set value — please do not adjust the fixed fan speed casually, especially during high power consumption operations.
- Select the PWM Control CPU Fan1 Speed Option
Use the "↓" arrow key on the keyboard to select PWM Control CPU Fan1 Speed, then press the Enterkey, as shown below:
- Adjust the Fixed Fan Speed
In the pop-up window, use the "↓" and "↑" arrow keys on the keyboard to adjust the fixed fan speed percentage, as shown below:
- Set the Fixed Fan Speed
Select the desired fixed fan speed percentage and press the Enterkey on the keyboard, as shown below:
- Verify the Fixed Fan Speed Setting
Press the ESCkey on the keyboard to return to the Hardware Monitor page, and check whether the CPU Fan1 speed has been successfully updated, as shown below:
10. Save Changes
Use the "→" arrow key on the keyboard to navigate to the Save & Exitpage.
Select Save & Reset, then press the Enterkey to save and exit the BIOS interface, as shown below:
After completing the above steps, the fan speed has been successfully modified.
